Short, because there is little to confess
Privacy policy
A security site that surveils its readers would be a joke. This one does not.
What this site collects
Nothing, client-side. About Hacking is a static website: no tracking scripts, no analytics
beacons, no cookies, no fingerprinting, no accounts, no newsletters popups, no third-party
embeds. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your own browser’s
localStorage and never transmitted anywhere.
Server logs
Our hosting provider processes standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, and requested URL) to serve the site and mitigate abuse. We do not enrich, resell, or cross-reference these logs. If we later add privacy-respecting aggregate analytics, this page will say so before it happens.
If you email us
We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation, and we do not add you to any list. See contact for what belongs in that inbox.
